Linden Elementary School Reviews

My son is in his third year at Linden- he's in 2nd grade - and is receiving an excellent education. I've been pleased with the teachers and the style suits his personality very well. It is a tight ship - discipline is a priority, but in my opinion, that is necessary for a good public school. I agree that K is for the prepared student. My son, with a summer birthday was 6. studentsutdeint.

This is a great school!

excellent school, good teachers, well disciplined, clean and orderly

Linden has been a top school for many years. I have had a child there for almost a decade. Student achevement is really high and most of the teachers are great. Kindergarden is really for the prepared student so if you have any question if your child is ready than try next year. He new principal is a question mark.

This magnet school has a high student accomplishment rating, but it may be because struggling students are placed on probation and 'encouraged' to return to their home schools. The principal can be a 'bully'.

Emphasis seems to be on writing and busy work -- not enough of the basics in Math, English, etc. Definitely has some good teachers but I have seen some biases against minority students.

I actually went to Linden El. The quality of the teaching staff at linden is superb. I really felt as though the teachers really enjoyed teaching and they wanted to help me move on in life
