Concord Elementary School Reviews

Ms barrie is great. Teachers are wonderful but a ittle overcrowded .But [it's] a great school

This school is overcrowded. There are about 25 kids to one teacher. There are no aides in the classrooms. My child has never went on a field trip while attending this school. I have another child that attends a different pittsburgh public school and they are rewarded with field trips and parties. concord rewards there 5th graders which is a good but all kids should be rewarded thru out the school year. this school looks great on the outside but the staff at this school are not parent friendly.

Concord looks nice on the outside, but the niceness STOPS at the front door. This school is the worst my 3rd grader has attended (he's been at 3 elem schools due to our moving frequently. QUESTION ANYTHING at this school, and they will attack your child. My son has never been in any trouble, and is a B student, but that didn't deter Concord from painting him as a failing student when we had the audacity to question any of their policies. RUN DONT WALK FROM THIS SCHOOL. The stress and the hours and hours of endless homework NEVER end at Concord. Expect 1-2 hours of disorganized and irrelevant 'busy' homework a night -and don't dare ever suggest that it may be too much or your child will be attacked, trust me, we know.
