West View Elementary School Reviews

A WONDERFUL school with dedicated teachers including 4 National Board certified teachers. A strong PTA that provides great field trips, assemblies, and family 'fun' opportunities throughout the year. Smaller class sizes-about 20 students in each. This elementary school WANTS YOUR CHILD TO SUCCEED!

In response to your statement My son went to West iew for 4 years. The teachers and the staff were absolutly supurb! My son had 'outburst' due to his autism diagnosis! I was made well aware of the situations by his wonderful teachers and staff! I believe that the admistration up on the hill has a lot to blame. Rita Nue would rather fight the parents and not respond to the needs of the special education issues! I have sence taking my children out of this district. I can only tell you that my son has improved! I would like to add that Mr. Kline was a wonderful man...but he had to do as he was told in my opinion! Mrs. Friedrick the are no words to describe you! other that if no for you I would have lost my mind! Mr. G god bless you!! Mr. Z wow you rock!

Do NOT send you child to this school! Last year my child was in a class with a violent student. Nothing was done to the other kid. My child was put into the same class again this year with the violent kid. They do NOT have the kids best interest at heart. The only care about who will cause the most problem and try to keep everyone else silent. The teachers try, but I've seen better teaching from my 6 year old playing school. It is a cold, cold environment. It is NOT a school that is open and welcoming. You would be better off not putting your child in this school.

I couldn't imagine a worse school. The school does not keep the kids as their focus. They are more concerned with appearances. My child was in a class with a violent kid last year. Nothing was done to protect the kids in the class. Now they are in the same class again. Do not send your children here. This school is awful!
