“As a student, I was, and am currently very impressed with GHHS. I now live in a tiny, upscale neighboorhood in southern Nevada and I am very greatful i attended GHHS for two of my highschool years. They taught me everything i needed to know in order to be prepared for future life and education. At the school I am currently attending I am learning things I've learned freshman year at Garfield. The academic programs of Garfield are outstanding and the availiability of extracurricular activities is wonderful. At my current school there aren't programs such as bowling, marching band, dance line, etc. To be honest I'm not quite sure how well parent involvement was at Garfield, but I know teachers and other staff members deeper cared about the students even though it was a fairly large school. I still wear my Garfield class ring wishing i was graduating from there.”

“The Garfield school system is not what they make themselves out to be.This is an expensive lesson that I had to learned the hard way by buying a home in a school district that I that would be helpful to my children.Instead they have let both me and my child down. Garfield's special education depart. is null and voided. They are more interested in sports & labeling the children. Garfield proves that everything that glitters is not gold, in Garfield's case it's more like wood! I feel sorry for the kids who have parents that don't understand, or don't care what's going on in their child's school system. I will not help them pass not one more levy!”
