Empire Computech Elementary School Reviews

I was just made aware that my children might not be able to return to Empire. I am sadden about this news. Empire and Mrs. Flowers are the best thing that ever happened to myself and my kids. Mrs. Flowers takes the time to speak to students as if they were her own kids. She doesn't have time to fool around with them. She follows up me the parent and I like that. She has a real concern for her students and her staff. She is always bragging about them at school and out at functions. mrs. Smith is one of the best teachers at Empire. She is wonderful. So is Mrs. Cunningham. I will miss Empire. I will also try to get my kids back if they let me.

I agree with both comments. This school has well behaved students and the overall environment is positive. This school has many positive teachers and staff members working to make it a special place. I also agree about the principal's monpolistic attitude but she has changed over the years and seems to try to be respectful and get along with all. Due to budget cuts I had to transfer my child due to lack of transportation. I doubt if any public school could surpass Emipire in its quality of activities and education. Miss Mary Wagner, Mrs. McCalpine, are wonderful patient teachers that my child had the pleasure of being taught by. The public school I had to transfer my child to does not come close to Empire academically. It is almost Empire's complete opposite. - Scorned by Budget cuts

Empire CompuTech School (K-8) has strong central principal leadership. Our teachers are highly talented professionals. Our students are well behaved and accept new students like relatives. It is a honor to me personally to graduate from Empire!

Principal, Mrs. Valerie Flowers is set in her ways with no bending. She shows little respect and consideration for those who disagree with some of her methods. She shows no consideration for parents, especially those of us who have no credentials or political pull. The Assistant Principal makes up for her monopolistic leadership.
