Chrysler Elementary School Reviews

Chrysler is a great school if you really want your children to learn something!

Chrysler is an excellent school. My daughter went there from Kindergarten to fifth grade and her teachers were wonderful with her. They gave her assistance when she needed it and they really put forth an effort to make sure that they did great on their homework. Their most recent MEAP scores tell the story as all of their scores did not dip below 95% overall for the entire school! This school is worth its weight in gold and with a wonderful parent support group to boot, you simply can't go wrong. it is an excellent Detroit Public School in an otherwise failing school system.

Chrysler Elementary is an excellent school where they treat all the kids like family. My child really enjoys the environment and I am pleased with his level of academic progress. After school sports or activities would be nice.

I was a student at Chrysler years ago. It was great to see the same teachers that I had still there. The teachers are very dedicated to the success of their students. The only downside is that they really don't have any afterschool activities or sports of any kind.

My husband is a former chrysler student, and still raves about his educational experience, so when my oldest child was ready for kindegarten there was no question about where he would go. And I have not regretted my choice. Mrs Ringholtz is one of the best teachers that I have met.

I have had two children at Chrysler Elemnetary School. I and my husband decided to transfer our children to school from a very prestigious school because the acadeimic standing at Chrysler is as high or higher than majority of private schools. My oldest daughter is at a parochial school now only because Chyrlser on goes to the fifth grade. She continues to be on the honor roll at the private school as she was at Chrysler. My youngest child is still at Chrysler excelling. The school is not for theaverage student, the curriculum is challenging. Both my children have scored perfect scores on the MEAP several times as a result of curriculum. If you are seeking am elementary school that prepares your child to transfer to any school system Chrysler is it.

I love Chrysler. My son is doing great and has enjoyed the experience of attending this school. I was planning on putting him in a private school, but after seeing how well he is progressing at Chrsler, I decided to keep him there. I have come to the conclusion that there is not a perfect school out there that will please everyone, however, you can find a school that is perfert for your child needs and growth potential. Chrysler is a perfect school for my son.

My son attended Chrysler his 2nd grade year. I did not send him back! We had a horrible experience at this school which lead me to contact the Board of Education, superintendent, and a lawyer. The teachers my son had were very harsh and coarse boardering abusive. They do not assist children in need, and if the child has the slightest problem keeping up with their excellerated curriculum they will suggest the parent hold the child back form entering the next grade. The school is very small, the teachers are very clickish, and the principal sits like a bump on a log without a care in the world especially not running the school because the most aggressive teachers do that. If you want your child to attend a school where they learn in a happy, productive, and positive environment this is not the school for you.

I have had a child in this school since 2004. The teaching methods of the teachers are not what it should be. They don't even offer real assistance for students who may have problems. I am definitely going to be taking my child from this school. And I definitely wouldn't recommend anybody sending there child or children to this school. They could do a whole lot better than Chrysler Elementary School.
