Vetal Elementary School Reviews

I have 2 children enrolled at Vetal. However, I will not next school year. I can admit that the teachers are trying to make this a more positive school, but the administration is very non-chalant. I feel sorry for alot of the children here because there is no parental involvement, and a vast majority of the children have no guidance or positive role models. The kids curse the teachers, there are metal detectors, and with close to 800 kids, there is only 1 security guard -a female at that-. So my children will not be attending this school, but I will pray for the kids here and maybe the school will become more positive in the future, when they do another administrative makeover!

As a parent, I am very disappointed with the principal leadership this year. Even though the principal is new to this school, everything seems to be worse. The teachers are doing the best that they can, but they are frustrated by no support from the principal. I hope that the board does something to help this school, because more parents will be taking their kids somewhere else.

Peter Vetal School has a new administration team for the 2005-6 School year. Many positive changes will be occurring during this school year. The staff at Vetal School is highly qualified and will work with your child(ren) to help them reach their potential. I invite all parents to come to the new Vetal and see what we have to offer.

I had children that recently left Vetal school. I was very displeased with the way the school was ran. I am very upset and disappointed with the administration at Vetal. My children will never attend this school again. Although the teaching staff tries, it is to no avail. This school needs major reorganization and alot of parental involvement.

I have children that attend Peter Vetal School. One student is in elementary, the other in Middle School. Last year I was not impressed with the way that the school was ran. It was alot of confusion and unorganization in the hallways. Although I know that the staff does try, I am aware of the low morale of some and the discontent of others. I hope that this schoolyear will be a better one for both staff and students as well as parents.

I am a new parent to the school system and was very proud of my son because of the things he learned in this school. His teacher (Ms. E. Smith, Kindergarten) taught him a whole lot of things. When a child is eager to learn, that is when the parents and the teachers should step in to teach. And that is what his teacher did. Ms. Smith knew what each student needed more help in and she did just that. I loved the homework packets that were sent home each week. She helped my son to focus more on his work. We need more teachers like my son had. I really do appreciate the time and effort this teacher put into her class and students. She left a good impression on me and hopefully she will always teach.
