Staff meetings always take place and suggestions for improving the school are made. The school has improved enormously. Ask the teachers how many times they see their students who have graduated and became doctors and such. Also, you don't always need literature to post a response. Great teachers who are helping our childerns' to learn. However, every school has clowens but Fordson has high number of students. Infact, Mr. Fadlallah flipt the school 180 decrease. This was not always the case, but it started when a new administration took over under Mr.Fadlallah . The previous administration really had a grip on things, as FHS was a pleasant learning environment. By the way, I am of middle eastern descent and has nothing personal against Mr. Fadlallah's ethnic background. I recommend the replacement of this administration with one that really encourages students to learn and stay in school instead of discouraging them with intimidation and fear tactics. If the future of your children is important to you, you need to join me in demanding a change; just take a look at the sad test scores.” Posted By: parent Quality Score: 2 2007-02-24 “I have two children currently at Fordson , and one who is a Fordson Graduate.... I am very disappointed at the leadership currently in the school , the school is run like a prison camp and they take very little interest in what the parent or student has to say, for example they had put my child in a advanced math class by mistake, I made several phone calls and kept getting pushed from the counselor to the assistant principal, who by the way never called me back after my several calls. As a result my child was kept in advanced math not one but two semesters and failed both, this is just one example, it's like they really don't care. The principal is doing a very poor job the school has gone down hill. That does not mean partieing and having fun is wat we do here but we also learn and the learning here is strict. Mr.Fadlallah(principal) is such a nice yet strict principal but he makes rules to help us. Fordson High School is the high school that i encourage your child to go to.”
