Detroit Premier Academy Reviews

Well i was currently attending Detroit Premier Academy. My name is Jaina and I have been going to this wonderful school for about 4 years. I just graduated from the eighth grade but this doesn't mean that this is the end. This school is very strict and has definitely brought attention to my eyes and mind that education is more important then anything in the world. The teachers are good or should i say great!! When it comes to teaching and taking time for the ability of each student to learn something new, Detroit Premier Academy all star teachers are the bomb at doing that!! I learned so much and they have indeed prepared me for high school.

I am very pleased with this school. I have been with this school since the beginning. I can say that I have have seen improvement over the years. I wish there was more schools like this in the Detroit area and possibly a high school that was in relation to Detroit Premier Academy. Keep up the good work.

I have a daughter in the 7th grade at Detroit Premier. She has been there since the 5th grade. She is progressing extremely well. She has been in the advanced class for the last two years. Last year she traveled to the south to tour black colleges. This year she has been chosen to tour Princeton, Harvard and Yale. She is also a member of Detroit Premier's after-school program called Sister II Sister. In the group she is being mentored by two of Detroit Premier's teachers. Last year the group of girls were taken by limo to a play at the Gem Theater. I really think that this school is a hidden jewel in the community.

I am a student at Detroit Premier Academy and I love my school. The reason I like this my school is because they care about you and your feelings. Whenever you get in trouble they sit down and talk to you. They don't just send you down to the principal to get you suspended. If you are having a hard time they send you outside the class and let you cool down, then when you have cooled down they come out and talk to you and explain why you are outside of the classroom. Also, before you get suspended, they listen to what you have to say and explain why you are getting supended. I'm also apart of Student Council. Student Council has taught me alot about being a sucessful student and showing respect to others.I love my school so much. Thank you.

so far so good. I think with the parents involved we can do even better. I also would like to see a little more extracurricular if any, that's what they seem to lack.
