“I totally disagree with the previous review from 2004. This is an excellent school for children to attend. The problem I think with the previous review is, the parent (s) do not fully support what is stood for in this school. My personal experience with Mrs. Maynard and the entire school staff has been nothing but excellent!!!! The children that attend this school are 'different' in the essence that they have already had a chance in the public school system. My child was expelled from several schools and could not return to any of them. This was his last hope! From this point, my child turned himself around seeing that this was it! There was no other place for him to go and learn other than going to a total lock-down facility where he would be in prison. I don't want other parents to get the wrong idea about this school!”
“This is not a good school to send your child to. The administration is only after the revenue per child. The students do not receive any of what is needed to prepare them for life. Faculty and staff are afraid to speak out for fear of their jobs. The students fight and cut class on a regular basis. The facility is not adequate to run a school. Parents are not aware of board meetings so they do not attend and tracking of student grades changes monthly. The students participate in no physical activities and are not allowed to go on field trip. The school schould be closed permanently.”
