Commonwealth Community Development Academy Reviews

I see quality teachers at CCDA and no parent involvement! I am big on parent involvement! If you let children do what they want at home what do you think they will try at school? We love them and we love you. We need your support, lets not place blame lets save our children together! Please come back and lets make it right together!

This school's administration is heavy-handed with the staff and generally unsupportive to the teachers. They create a hostile environment that filters down to the students.

I would not recommend this school to anyone, future staff or future students. The adminstration doesn't know what they are doing and have never been in the classroom. Some teachers are not certified in the state of Michigan. There are many behavior problems that are not dealt with at the school. They get rid of good teachers and keep the bad teachers.

This is such a horrible school for student, parents, and teachers. The administration is extremely mean spirited. They have high teacher turnover, and appear only concerned about students as 'dollars'. Students that require special services are typically shortchanged, and the unruly students have the most control in the school. Parents beware!

I was dissappointed at this school because the children have no recess they have no option of what specials they can take gym, art, or computers my kids only had computer one semester and art the next no gym, they are bases on sucess for all which is ok but math is too long and too complicated. Teachers I met are nice. This year they will have k-6 because the middle school closes due too poor grades and I heard there will be no specials their emphasis will be math. My kids are not coming back.
