I am a working artist with a background in graphic design, painting, ceramics, sculpture, and textiles. My focus over the past few years has been on merging all of my passions into a distinct,recognizable, and coherent style. Obviously my obsession with mid-century design has greatly influenced my art, as well as my love for vintage 1950s-60s abstract art, advertising, cartoons, sci-fi, and kooky creepy stuff. I consider all of my work as sort of "studies", attempts to twist and tweak those classic images into something new, but with that same awesome energy and playfulness that I have come to adore. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
