On the classical side, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Pittsburgh Opera and Civic Light Opera play to packed concert halls. Bach Choir performs dynamic interpretations of choral music from the Renaissance to contemporary and Pittsburgh Musical Theater offers top-name musicals like “Hello Dolly” and “My Fair Lady.” On the music festival scene the calendar is filled every season. The Pittsburgh Folk Festival features ethnic live music and dance in May each year.
