The Monterey Bay Fish Grotto is Pennsylvania's premier seafood restaurant. With two Pennsylvania locations in Pittsburgh and Monroeville, there is certainly a location near you in which you'll be able to enjoy the ocean's freshest yield. With fresh fish being delivered daily, you can pretty much bet that your meal was swimming in the great blue deep just a day or two earlier.

The atmosphere at Monterey Bay Fish Grotto is crisp and chic, featuring breathtaking views of the Pittsburgh skyline at the Pittsburgh location. A great place to impress a dinner date, significant other or the in-laws, Monterey Bay Fish Grotto truly stands out among western Pennsylvania's fine dining establishments. A delicate blend of rusticity and class, Monterey Bay Fish Grotto is sure to be a knock out for even the most persnickety of guests.

Start off your meal with one of Monterey Bay's tantalizing appetizers. Try the smoked salmon and potato pillows with herb cheese and creamed leeks; Ahi tuna sashimi with black sesame seeds, pickled ginger, wasabi and soy sauce; or the oysters Rockefeller with baked spinach, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs and Hollandaise sauce.

For your meal, you can't afford to miss the delicious Cashew Gulf Shrimp with fresh snow peas, broccoli, bean sprouts, onions, peppers and mushrooms; the salmon fettuccine with homemade alfredo sauce and Parmesan cheese; or the stuffed filet mignon with feta cheese, a mushroom cap and sweet Marsala wine sauce.

Don't miss the fresh fish dinner board, which features the seafood that has been flown-in fresh that day. Items like soft shell crabs, Alaskan black cod, Chilean sea bass, Hawaiian parrot fish and Atlantic lemon sole all make appearances on the ever-changing dinner board menu.

As you might expect, Monterey Bay Fish Grotto's wine list is extensive and international. With approximately 200 imported and domestic varietals, your server will be able to make a recommendation for a wine that will compliment your meal perfectly.

Reservations at Monterey Bay Fish Grotto are required, as is business dress. For reservations, call (412) 481-4414 (Pittsburgh) or (412) 374-8530 (Monroeville).
