Oct 21, 2009

Situated in a cozy three-story townhouse, Pittsburgh's Mallorca Restaurant brings the finest Spanish cuisine right to your backyard in an atmosphere that is playful and even a little romantic.

The turn-of-the-century styling of the quaint building in which the restaurant is located is reminiscent of a simpler time when good craftsmanship and delicate detailing was revered and respected.  The ambiance at Mallorca is unmatched by any other eatery in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area.

To start your meal at Mallorca, try a bowl of traditional Gazpacho soup, mussels in a spicy hot sauce, or clams in a robust marinara.

Lobster ravioli with your choice of red or white sauce, tilapia in a sauce made with lemons and brandy, broiled salmon in garlic sauce, twin lobster tails with lemon wine, and breaded, fried shrimp all make delightful appearances on Mallorca's unique menu.

While seafood takes center stage at Mallorca, there are plenty of meat dishes to choose from as well. From filet mignon to pork chops to chicken breast, Mallorca's menu has something for everyone.

Winner of Wine Spectator Magazine's Excellence Award in 2002, 2003 and 2004, Mallorca's wine list is extensive and unique. More than six-dozen imported and domestic varietals are available, including the coveted Captain's List, which features rare wines from across the world. For a complete listing of wines, click here.

Mallorca is a great place to hold your party or work function. A variety of packages are available to suit your event's specific needs. Small parties can be catered in Mallorca's on-site party room, but catering is also available off-site. For more information, click here.
