Biography
A 15-year veteran of graphic design, I recently decided to combine my passion for people, animals and painting to become a portrait artist. Capturing an individual's style or personality is an amazing challenge. My greatest reward is to complete a portrait that captures not only the likeness of the person or animal, but more importantly, their unique personality.
Why watercolor? Watercolor is a great medium for portraits because it has a fresh, spontaneous look, making it easier to capture that fleeting expression. The translucent layering of color and uncontrollable nature of watercolor make it more exciting and expressive than other media.
